We strive to foster a spirit of joy in a fun, safe and medically sound, urban recreational environment that builds self esteem, independence and friendships for children living with cancer . Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago (CKAKC) is a nonprofit organization. We provide a camp for kids living with and beyond cancer and their siblings in a fun, safe and medically sound urban recreational environment and with no financial cost to campers families.  We are proud members of KOA Care Camps and Children’s Oncology Camping Association-International (COCA-I), an organization of 125 member camps, founded in 1982, which served the needs of 35,500 campers in 2014.
